Oxygen therapy and ozone therapy

Oxygen is the basis of our life, without oxygen life would not be possible. Thus, many diseases can be attributed to or develop because of a disturbed oxygen metabolism. Particularly chronic diseases are often the consequence of constant oxygen utilization disorders which affect the whole organism. In the case of diabetes, for example, red blood cells (erythrocytes) cannot transport the oxygen into the cells any more. This leads to deficiency symptoms of the tissue so that circulatory problems and neuropathies are the cause.
But the insufficient supply with oxygen is also devastating for the functions of different types of white blood cells (leucocytes). Leucocytes clean the organism from indigestible substances and pathogens. Some of these are bacteria, viruses, tumour cells, toxins, worms, funges and so on. The different types of leucocytes have various functions within the immune system including the marking of antigens and the control of ill cells and cancer cells. These neutrophil granulocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells are therefore also called phagocytes. If they are weakened or even incapable of acting due to insufficient oxygen, numerous ailments and diseases can be the cause.
In our practice clinic Dr. Baltin we carry out different related methods of therapy for the increase of the oxygen content in the human organism. In the case of the oxygen therapy (oxyvenation) pure medical oxygen is added slowly and in exact small doses to the blood via an intravenous infusion. The smallest oxygen bubbles which are available for the blood provoke the formation of vasodilatory and anti-inflammatory substances. Superfluous tissue water, which is e.g. responsible for the formation of edema, is flushed out and the sticking ability of blood platelets is hindered with the result that it counteracts potential vascular thromboses. Also the already mentioned leucocytes grow faster and activate the immune system.
Apart from the intravenous oxygen therapy we apply the following methods:
All measures have in common that they have a persistent effect. This can, as already mentioned, be attributed to the supply of the blood cells and to the fact that enzyme systems are encouraged to neutralize free radicals. This has been proved by many scientific works.
Depending on the choice of therapy (oxyvenation, HOT, ozone), which is always preceded by a comprehensive examination of the acid-base balance, there are the following indications for the oxygen therapy:

Furthermore, oxygen therapies can be used as an accompanying measure during cancer therapies in order to minimize the side effects and to reduce kidney problems and liver complaints, but also to reinforce the success of other therapies. After all, the growth of tumours is strongly related to the supply of oxygen, i.e. the worse the tissue is supplied with blood, the more acidic the environment of the cellular metabolism becomes. An acidic environment favours the conditions of growth of tumours which can get along well for some time with nearly no oxygen and then can form metastases very quickly.
The application of the oxygen therapy is carried out like a course of treatment, i.e. ideally, it is carried out regularly for days or weeks. Follow-up treatments at intervals of some months make sense and depend on the troubles.
