Dental diagnosis and jawbone diagnosis

The mandibular joint and its capsule apparatus have 100 times more nerve fibres than other muscles or organs, just like the short neck muscles which begin at the head. This is important because the movements of the mouth are very complex and therefore need a more sensitive control than for instance leg muscles or arm muscles. Furthermore, there are straight functional relationships with the ears and the cervical spine or rather the whole spinal column.
In the case of a disturbed dental situation there are constant irritations of the central nervous system, which leads to considerable impacts on the whole coordination. An example can make that clear: if door and door-frame do not go together, the hinges wear out or the door-frame and the door do not work properly. It is the same with a defective function of the masticatory apparatus. In extreme cases this can lead to a disease that resists the common and uncommon therapies.
According to the state-of-the-art in the architecture and network of the nervous system disturbances in the masticatory area have a huge effect on all areas of the body and soul (somato-psychological). If there are dysfunctions which lead to disturbances like damaged discs, headache, migraine, circulatory problems in the head, constant fatigue and so on, there is help in form of diagnosis and therapy. Also in the case of MS (multiple sclerosis) there are similar circumstances.
Patients with chronic diseases regularly get X-ray photographs of the teeth. They can identify numb teeth, rests of roots, inflamed roots or other dental changes. Many diseases are triggered with such results and they remain resistant to therapies, if they are not treated.
Below you can see some X-ray photographs of patients whose diseases were in a causal relationship with disturbances of the dental area or the area of the jawbone:
