Thermography is an imaging method which discovers heat-related changes in the organism on the basis of infrared radiation (electromagnetic waves which are invisible for the eye). Considering that certain areas of the skin are related to inner organs, the first signs of dysfunctions can be observed before the actual manifestation of a disease on the basis of the thermal behaviour. It is therefore also used for prevention, since classic methods like X-ray, CT or magnetic resonance imaging can only identify already existing damages of the structure or diseases. This examination is nearly without contact and shows regulation blockades and interfering fields. Moreover, this method is a good follow-up and provides important indications. The measuring of warmth during thermography is without pain and danger and is used for the early diagnosis of different diseases.
