Mesotherapy

Meso-therapy ensures a long-lasting therapeutic effect

Mesotherapy

This really intelligent and versatile therapy method has also become increasingly well known in Germany in recent years: From our point of view, however, unfortunately mainly under the aspect of aesthetic measures and anti-aging. Meso-therapy is a good method to alleviate the signs of the times and make us look younger and fresher without the need to pull out the scalpel. However, and therefore “unfortunately”, it is forgotten or completely relegated to the background in public reporting that mesotherapy can be a blessing in the medical sense for the treatment of numerous ailments and diseases.

Mesotherapy (meso, Greek = “in the middle”) was developed by the French physician Michel Pistor (1924 – 2003) and has been used in France and the USA for more than 50 years, almost in the classical everyday practice. In addition, it is an integral part of medical training in France. While in Germany, as already mentioned, it has meanwhile found its place in aesthetic medicine, its other advantages and effects are almost unknown.

Basically, meso-therapy contains different elements of acupuncture, neural therapy and drug therapy. For example, injections are made into the middle (meso) layer of the skin, which contain the lowest homeopathic doses or low-dose medication. These micro-injections are injected directly into the skin at the site of the event, i.e. in the causal area of a disease. The treatment is quick and usually has a lasting effect without exposing the patient to side effects. However, it is up to the experienced doctor to administer the injections perfectly and with maximum effect.

The most important therapeutic principle of meso-therapy is: “little – rarely – in the right place”. This requirement, which is ultimately the goal of any complementary medical treatment, can be impressively implemented with mesotherapy. The dose can be drastically reduced by the precise application of drugs and substances, whereby their effectiveness is simultaneously increased or potentiated by the special combinations of active ingredients. The resulting active agent depot directly in the skin ensures a long-lasting therapeutic effect and is released through the skin further into the body.

Meso-therapy can be of great help especially for patients who have often already been “over-treated” and has already helped many chronically ill patients. The diseases for which mesotherapy can provide relief or even recovery come from all areas of medicine.

Meso-therapy ensures a quick and long-lasting therapeutic effect, which can or should be repeated in subjectively determined treatment intervals.
