DMSO

DMSO-Infusion

DMSO is the abbreviation for ‘dimethyl sulfoxide’. This is a natural sulphur compound that is produced as a by-product of wood processing in the manufacture of pulp. DMSO is an extremely versatile chemical solvent with a wide range of pharmacological effects and can be used in various applications and dosage forms.

As DMSO has a strong anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, it is highly effective in chronic inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases (e.g. ulcerative colitis), arthritis and arthrosis, as well as in all rheumatic forms (scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis), chronic cystitis (interstitial cystitis), sinusitis and thyroiditis.

Above all, DMSO has a strong antioxidant effect and protects the cells from free radicals and other harmful environmental influences. As a free radical scavenger, DMSO is therefore also used as an accompanying measure in holistic cancer therapy, because DMSO weakens the negative effects of free radicals and can thus increase the immune system and the self-healing and self-defence powers of the organism. Countless studies and publications (more than 11,000) have now been written about DMSO, confirming, among other things, its significant effectiveness in the treatment of cancer.
